Founded in 1949 by a passionate group of art enthusiasts, the Wagga Wagga Art Society (WWAS) has been a cornerstone of the region’s cultural life for over 70 years. With a rich variety of workshops, exhibitions and events, WWAS nurtures a spirit of collaboration and inspiration within the community. Whether you are an experienced artist or just beginning to uncover your artistic abilities, WWAS offers the ideal setting to learn, grow, and connect with fellow enthusiasts. To foster creative awareness and artistic expression in the Wagga Wagga region by supporting the practice, appreciation, and education of the visual arts. Through our community studio, exhibitions, workshops, and events, we provide inclusive opportunities for artists and art lovers to connect, create, learn, and share.
